Colleen Abcunas

Colleen Abcunas joined Morrissey, Hawkins & Lynch as a trust officer in 2006. After graduating from law school in 2012, Colleen became an associate at the firm. Colleen concentrates her practice in estate planning and administration, trust administration and related business planning and tax matters. Colleen is experienced in the preparation of complex estate plans for clients, the administration of large estates and the preparation of estate tax returns. Colleen also assists clients with the negotiation and drafting of prenuptial agreements as well as residential purchase and sales agreements. Colleen is a member of the Boston Bar Association and the Boston Estate Planning Council.

Colleen graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in 2005. Colleen completed her Juris Doctor at Suffolk University School of Law, graduating cum laude in May, 2012. While attending Suffolk University, Colleen was the recipient of the first year Legal Practice Skills Best Brief Award and was a member of the Dean’s List every semester. She also completed a directed study project on the use of complex trusts in estate planning to reduce estate and gift tax liability.

Colleen resides on the North Shore with her husband and three beautiful children.

Jordan A. Carroll

Jordan A. Carroll joined Morrissey, Hawkins & Lynch as an associate attorney after graduating from law school in 2018. Jordan is currently admitted to practice in Massachusetts.

Jordan graduated cum laude from Stonehill College in 2015 where she earned a BSBA in Accounting and a BA in Political Science with a concentration in Public Administration. While at Stonehill, Jordan co-founded a nonprofit organization for children with special needs and disabilities, and continues to advocate in her community regarding adequate programming for children with special needs.

Jordan completed her Juris Doctor at Suffolk University Law School, graduating cum laude in May of 2018. While attending Suffolk University Law School, Jordan was a member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society, Content Editor for the Journal of High Technology Law, and a member of the Accelerator-to-Practice Program and Clinic. Through the Accelerator Clinic, Jordan was able to work as a 3:03 certified student attorney during her final year of law school and handled residential housing cases as well as cases involving employment discrimination and wage theft.

Jordan resides in North Easton, Massachusetts with her husband, Ben, and her two pets, Toby and Clarice.
