Robert J. Morrissey

Robert J. Morrissey received his degree from the Harvard Law School in 1963. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors from Boston College in 1960. Upon finishing law school he joined the firm of Withington, Cross, Park & Groden and became a partner six years later at the age of 30. Mr. Morrissey has served as a Trustee of Boston College since 1980 and is Chairman of the Boston College Investment and Endowment Committee. Mr. Morrissey is a member of the Harvard Law School Dean’s Advisory Board, sits on the Investment Advisory Board of the Society of Jesus, Worldwide, Vatican City, and is Chairman of the Investment Advisory Board of the New England Jesuit Province, is a Member of the Finance Council of the Archdiocese of Boston and Chairman of its Investment Committee, and is Director or Trustee of several other private and public funds, trusts, mutual funds and foundations. He is chairman of the Board of Directors of the Belmont Savings Bank.

Bob Morrissey is the father of five children, has fourteen grandchildren, and currently resides with his wife Alyce, in Belmont, Massachusetts.

David C. Hawkins received both his B.A. and J.D. degrees from Harvard University, graduating in 1960 and 1964 respectively. Mr. Hawkins served as an Assistant Attorney General to Massachusetts from 1967 to 1969, and as a Special Assistant Attorney General from 1969 to 1972. He joined the law firm Withington, Cross, Park & Groden in 1969 and became partner in 1970. Mr. Hawkins taught Construction Law as an Adjunct Professor at the New England School of Law from 1990 to 2009. He also taught Contract and Construction Law as an Instructor at the Boston Architectural Center from 1987 to 2001. Mr. Hawkins practices civil litigation, construction law, municipal and surety bond law.

Dave is the father of two children, has four grandchildren, and currently resides with his wife Patricia in Belmont, Massachusetts. Dave has served as the timekeeper for the Harvard Crimson hockey team, is a Latin scholar, and has coached Babe Ruth baseball for twenty years.

Michael G. Lynch received his law degree from Suffolk University, graduating cum laude in 1983. Mr. Lynch received his undergraduate degree from the University of Vermont in 1978. At Suffolk University Mr. Lynch was a member of the Suffolk University Law Review, serving as Executive Editor from 1982 to 1983. He authored Applying Offensive Collateral Estoppel to the Asbestos Cases, which was published in the law review in the fall of 1982. After graduation, Mr. Lynch served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Robert G. Doumar of the US District Court, Eastern District of Virginia. He joined the law firm Withington, Cross, Park & Groden in 1988. Mr. Lynch’s areas of expertise include trust and estate planning and administration, business planning, and taxation.

Mike is the father of three children, and currently resides in Concord, Massachusetts.

Paul R. Mordarski is a partner with the law firm of Morrissey, Hawkins & Lynch, located at One International Place in Boston, Massachusetts.

Over the past twenty years, Paul has concentrated his legal practice primarily in the areas of commercial litigation and business law, with a particular emphasis on the construction and real estate industries. Paul has tried both jury and non-jury cases before state and federal courts, and possesses extensive experience representing clients in private arbitrations, mediations, and alternative forms of dispute resolution. In the non-adversarial context, Paul represents entrepreneurs as well as existing businesses large and small, providing guidance and legal counsel on best practices in entity selection and formation, legal compliance, business operations and planning.

Paul also has considerable experience working on behalf of non-profit organizations. He is general counsel, a board member, and chair of the Governance Committee of the Joe Andruzzi Foundation—a charitable foundation serving to afford financial assistance to those families affected with a cancer diagnosis. He is also general counsel and a member of the board of Medically Induced Trauma Support Services, Inc., a patient-founded charitable organization devoted to promoting mutual empathy, compassion and understanding aimed at helping to reconcile patients, families, medical professionals and institutions in the wake of adverse medical events.

Paul obtained Bachelor of Science degrees in both Physics and Mathematics from Boston College in 1989. He received his law degree from New England School of Law in 1992, graduating cum laude and earning the New England Scholar Award for superior academic achievement.

Paul and his wife, Kalana, reside in Mansfield, Massachusetts, with their four children. Actively involved in his community, Paul serves as a member of the town’s recreation commission and volunteers both as a coach and as an officer, director, and/or legal counsel for multiple local youth sports organizations.

Robert F. Morrissey received his law degree from the Boston College Law School in May of 2002 and was admitted to the Bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in December of 2002. In June of 2003, Mr. Morrissey was admitted to the Bar of the State of Florida. Mr. Morrissey graduated from Boston College in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts in History. After graduation, Mr. Morrissey worked as a Series 7 and Series 63 licensed bond broker for S.G. Cowan in New York City until he returned to Boston to attend law school.

Mr. Morrissey's practice areas include estate planning and administration, probate, fiduciary services, charitable foundations, taxation, real estate and business planning.

Mr. Morrissey serves as a trustee of Boston College and The Catholic Schools Foundation, and serves on the Advisory Board of Belmont Savings Bank, the Philanthropic Board of Advisors of Boston Children’s Hospital, the Board of Overseers Committee of the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and on the Board of Visitors of Park Street School.

Andrea M. Weltman

Andrea M. Weltman joined Morrissey, Hawkins & Lynch in March 2005 and became a partner with the firm in 2017. Andrea concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning, probate and estate administration, and trust administration. Andrea prepares comprehensive estate plans for clients, handles the probate administration of estates, prepares federal and state estate tax returns and counsels clients on asset ownership, gifting, tax planning, business organization and succession, planning for retirement assets, planning for individuals with special needs and prenuptial planning. Andrea serves as a professional fiduciary in addition to advising non-professional fiduciaries on the administration of trusts and estates. Andrea is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Boston Bar Association, and the Boston Estate Planning Council.

Andrea graduated, with honors, from Lehigh University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Andrea completed her first year of law school at Tulane University School of Law and earned her Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law in 2004. While attending Tulane University, Andrea was a recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award. During the completion of her legal studies at Northeastern University, Andrea served as a legal intern for the Honorable Raymond J. Brassard of the Massachusetts Superior Court and worked for the Massachusetts State Senate Office of Legal Counsel.

Andrea lives in Newton with her husband, Jeremy, and their children, Jack and Emma.
